Indian actress Zarine Khan seems very shy actress and her body is not suitable for bikini or swimsuit dresses. And she has also accepted this truth that she is not fit for bikini top or bottoms. Zarine Khan says that she may wear bikini if she looses weight in the coming months.

In “Veer”, the Mumbai girl was covered from head to toe throughout the film. But is she ready to play Zarine Khan was born to a Pashtun family in Mumbai. In college she weighed almost 100 kg. Although she never planned to be model, she began to focus on losing weight and getting into shape. In order to lose weight, she began to work out at the gym, eventually reaching her target weight. Her family’s financial troubles forced Khan to abandon her education and begin working. With no marketable skills, she tried her hand at modeling. Khan did a number of small assignments that fetched her enough money to run her family’s house.
Zarine, who plays princess Yashodhara in “Veer” that has Salman in the lead role, understands that if she wants to be in the business of showbiz, she will need a good figure.
“Whatever role that I consent to play, it has to be done with dedication. However, I’m a new entrant and there are so many established actresses who are taking the size zero route. Obviously, I can’t beat them due to my body structure, but I wish to get into shape to the best of my ability,” she said.
Narrating her journey of weighty issues, Zarine said: “It was only after I started doing modelling that my weight went down by 40-45 kilos from an original 100. I have a tendency to lose and put on weight. This is why while working on ‘Veer’, I was so happy. For a change no one was asking me to lose weight.
Zarine Khan’s acting career began while visiting the set of Yuvraaj at Subhash Ghai’s film school Whistling Woods. Salman Khan noticed her and decided to cast her for his film Veer because, he said, “She looks the character – the sweet princess she is playing in Veer”. After a screen test, Khan was given the role of Princess Yashodhara. She gained eight kilograms in order to be more convincing as a 19th century princess.
