Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is to go on hunger strike for 48 hours in Vijayawada on 21,22nd December, 2010. Lakhs of Jagan’s fans are expected to reach Vijayawada from all over Andhra Pradesh and the authorities are making arrangements for the same. Parking places for vehicles have been announced by the police. Parking for vehicles coming from Hyderabad is allotted at TTD compounds at Bhavanipuram Lorry Stand, Bhavani Ghat and Kummaripalem Center. Two wheelers should be parked at paid parking at Kaleshwara Rao market and Canal Road. Vehicles from Guntur, Machilipatnam and Eluru should be parked at open places at Kanaka Durga Varadhi, Prakasam Barrage and also at open places at Balajinagar – Krishnalanka Feeder Roads, Swargapuri Road and Railway Bridge. Vehicles from Nuzividu and Mailavaram should be parked at railway paid parking at Goods shed road, RTC open place beside old Government hospital road and BRTS road. Rajiv Gandhi Park, Flower Market and Krishnaveni Ghat are allotted for VIP vehicles.

First it was Chandrababu Naidu’s fast and now, Jaganmohan Reddy, who recently announced his divorce from the Congress party, is set to begin a 48-hour hunger strike in Vijayawada today.
