The origin of tdates back to June1932, when it was first established as NSR-RTD (Nizam State Rail & Road Transport Department), a wing of Nizam State Railway in the erstwhile Hyderabad State, with 27 buses and 166 employees. During the past 77 years, it has registered a steady growth from 27 to 21,889 uses with 767 bus stations, 210 Depots and 1, 880 bus shelters.

The Corporation’s buses cover 79.05 lakhs KMs. and carry 126.25 lakhs people to their destinations every day. They connect 24,336 villages to all major towns and cities in A.P which constitutes 95% of Road Transport. t operates to City and Mofussil areas. The Corporation’s buses also ply to important towns and cities in the neighboring States of Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Orissa and Chattisgarh.

APSRTC invites online applications for the recruitment for following posts.

1) Traffic Supervisor Trainee (TST)
No.of Total Post : 207
Pay Scale : Rs.9280-290-12760-320-15320-340-19400-365-23780
Qualification : Graduate from a Recognized University.

2) Mechanical Supervisor Trainee (MST)
No.of Total Post : 212
Pay Scale : Rs.9280-290-12760-320-15320-340-19400-365-23780
Qualification : Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Govern-ment of A.P. or its equivalent qualification in the same discipline. Candidates possessing higher qualifications of
BE/B.Tech/AMIE in the discipline of Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering are also eligible.

Application Fees : Each applicant must pay Rs.175/- (Rupees one hundred and seventy five only) towards Application Fee.
i. Applicants under General category must also pay Rs.200/- (Two hundred only) towards Examination fee if applying for one post i.e., either TST or MST (Applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC/ Departmental candidates/ Exservicemen need not pay this fee).
ii. Applications under General category must pay Rs.400/- if applying for both TST & MST posts towards examination fee.
iii. Candidates belonging to States other than Andhra Pradesh will be considered in general category only and are required to pay the above prescribed fee.
